Northwood meadows is located on route 4 in Northwood NH. As part of a new hiking group with the anytime fitness I led a group of folks through the park on a nice afternoon hike. We covered 5.8 miles in about 3 hours. We gained 794ft of elevation in that time, enough to feel the legs burn, but not a full day commitment either. The trail system travels along meadow lake and climbs up Saddle back mountain The weather brightened up for us and it was a phenomenal day for a hike. Northwood meadows is pet friendly and some of us brought our dogs. Patton had a blast on the trails today.
