Patton and I had a quick lunch after our morning hike of Moosilauke. The weather was starting to break and we got some nice views. Patton did really well for hiking after taking the winter off. The dog has so much energy! On the way up I ran into Pam Wimont who informed me about a party that they were having at the hut. I just may have to stop it.

I stopped into the hut for a quick visit. I had to leave Pattin outside. He was not happy about this. Everyone inside looked to be having a great time. I was offered a drink too! I had a large shot of Jameson before getting on my way. It was an amazing end to the day. As the sun was setting Patton and I were reaching the car. It was a wonderful day on the trails. With the weather clearing up I wanted to hit up Franconia ridge in the morning. Patton and I had dinner and were quick to bed. We had no problems sleeping…
