Old Bridal Path, Franconia Ridge, Falling Waters

The morning was a bit chilly. Patton and I started out around 7, but by the time we actually started hiking it was closer to 7:30. Patton was very excited. Right from the start of the hike we were running into heavy hikers. Rachel and Isis were hiking the same way and shortly after we met up with Samantha Brady. Patton kept me at a good pace all day and i never saw anyone behind us again. Everyone was out today for the beautiful day.

I would have loved to have hiked the whole ridge, but I had other obligations in the evening. The trail over to Liberty seemed to be broken out from a previous hiker. It was a wonderful morning of hiking. Patton had a great weekend. It was good to be back in the Whites after the weekend in Vermont. Next weekend we aim for Maine and some more peaks on the New England 67 list. See you there!
