Getting up round 5 I made coffee and put my already packed food into my backpack. I was able to hitch a ride from camp Dodge to the end of Zealand road. Looks like I still have to road walk. I walked to the Hale Brook Trail head where I was to start my adventure.

Hale was easy going and there was little snow the whole way down lend a hand to Zealand hut. I stopped in quickly to get the weather report.
