With camp starting up at Dodge I have been very busy. Cooking for large groups of hungry trail workers is fantastic, but you had better make a lot of food. I had Wednesday off so j decided to go for a hike. I wanted to do a presidential traverse but with no solid ride planned back to camp I instead decided to hike in my back yard. I hitched a ride to Pinkham and started around 9. It was a beautiful day though they called for rain in the afternoon. I wore my trail runners and packed a light daypack. It was very humid so I brought 2 liters of water though I had to fill up in Carter notch. Here are my pictures.
